"Plant a Seed Ministries has been an integral part of our mental health court since it began in 2006. Their program redirects the mentally ill out of the overcrowded jails and overburdened court dockets into the community mental health system without compromising the safety of the public. Their program isolates and focuses upon defendants with substance abuse addictions and mental illnesses that need appropriate treatment in an environment conducive to wellness and recovery rather than punishment. Without Plant a Seed, our problem solving courts would not be successful."

Throughout the last 5 years, I have called Pastor Al to place those who were truly dual diagnosis patients. Because Plant a Seed Ministry believes in giving everyone a chance, these hard to place, undeserved people receive the help they need. I have learned through Pastor Al’s teaching that God truly does forgive me, and I have learned to forgive myself. I have found how to be a true servant through this ministry. Today I have over 8 years of sobriety. Thank God for Plant a Seed. I am ever so thankful to be apart of this ministry.

Plant a Seed works if you let it. I did 14 months of drug treatment voluntarily and still had the desire to use. Something was missing in my life. It was God. Plant a Seed has given me a spiritual awakening. I came to PASM with no understanding. I blamed others, no acceptance, and let others fill my head with things that I believed, and those things brought me down. Plant a Seed has reprogrammed the things that I believe. Instead of my head being filled with others opinions and outlooks on me. I can now see what God sees. I fill my head and heart with His words. I became open minded and started trying things God’s way and finally gave up my own self-will.

God bless Plant a Seed for saving my life when I was just a stumbling alcoholic destroying myself. Amazing things will happen to anyone who is serious about their recovery through this program.
